During the holiday season, it is nice to think of giving and helping other people. Why don't we start a chain of good deeds right here on Flupo and help others in need?
Here is mine: I went through everything in my basement and found an enormous amount of things to give away. I donated several large bags of old clothing to my local church.
Now, who can keep the chain going and do a good deed? Add it here!
Thanks,
Kelly

A local family recently suffered the loss of their home and worldly possessions. A young classmate of one of the boys who survived the fire has been going door to door in effort to let that family know that people care for them and will help them through their pain. He's been collecting clothing donations for the family and has also inspired other classmates to help do the same. It's amazing what kids can do.
My husband and I were planning this huge yard sale this Spring and have so many things in which could easily start a whole new household for someone... we are reecntly married and you have to sometimes let go of things to make room for new things. My husband has spoken to the Man of the household we're referring to and invited he and his wife to come look through to see if there is anything in which they might need to help get them started again.
Our church is sending in donations, also. I am amazed by all of this.

Me and a group of my friends participated in a "Give a child a Christmas", it's a thing a local store does every year. We fill a choebox full of kids toys/stuff and donate $5 for shipping and handling and they ship it to small kids in third world countries.
My friends and I are trying to arrange times when we can all go to long-term care facilities/retirement homes, to keep some of our elderly company. Still in process.
And to bump my ego up a notch - lol - I donate blood regularly and volunteer at the local hospital.
A truly great deed indeed.... http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/100_million_mystery
