You are correct about my goal for this blog...but actually I'm getting more projects that are not 'blog-oriented'. So this blog will be more free-willed :)

Jeff, are you already signed up with Adsense? If not, you will have to get registered with them first. Once that is done, you can add it to your blog this way: Click "customize", then "layout". Click on "add page element". There will be many choice of what kind of page element to add. One of those choices will be adsense. Since this is your first time, it will probably ask you for your adsense publisher number which you will get from your adsense account. If you have any questions along the way, just send me an email.

Regarding content, I think you should write exactly what you want to write about. From what I understand, your main purpose of this blog is to have writing samples to provide to potential clients. If you are writing about what interests you, that type of content should prove to be your best writing since it is topics that interest you.
