Shards of color pierce through the air as though having no infinite boundary of where they might end up. The chaos renders us helpless but all the while comforts in the same regard. The vibrance of the color is exciting, bursting with potential as it becomes corralled by variously sized black lines--some bold--some thin--some both and not at all. The characters approach us with a shy, tender rage, beckoning to view them in an aspect that is befitting your state-of-mind, because the world they inhabit is not unlike yours in certain respects. Their story is one of VISUAL intrigue, to lure us into that realm, taking us somewhere we have never been before--somewhere that allows us to interpret the vision for ourselves--interpret the artist--or not interpret at all, just feel, without any verbal expounding. In a way the goal is achieved through explicating the fusion of the subconscious and conscious and guiding it outward into the light of day, hopefully causing the surreal to become real, only if for a moment.
